American Actor Verne Troyer, star of Austin Powers, died aged 49 on April 21. He had cartilage–hair hypoplasia and was 2ft 8in (81 cm) tall. His death was reported as a possible suicide to the coroner, who found very high alcohol levels in his body, suggesting alcohol poisoning.
18.) Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin died on August 16 aged 76. The legendary soul singer passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Franklin sold over 75 million records during a music career that lasted six decades.

One half of famous English comedy duo the Chuckle Brothers, Barry Chuckle, die on August 5 at the age of 73.
20.) Burt Reynolds
Burt Reynolds died on September 6 at a hospital in Jupiter, Florida, with his family by his side.
The Oscar-nominated actor, who starred in Boogie Nights and Deliverance, passed away at the age of 82.

The winner of the 1995 Miss Universe crown Chelsi Smith died on September 8 aged 45 following a long-term illness.
22.) Devin Lima
LFO singer Devin Lima died on November 21 at the age of 41, after a year-long battle with stage four cancer. The sinfer starred with Brad Fischetti and Rich Cronin, who himself died in 2010 after a long fight with leukemia.

Former American President George H.W. Bush died on November 30 aged 94.
24.) Joe Jackson
The patriarch of the Jackson family, and manager of the Jackson 5, died on June 27 at the age of 89 of cancer.
25.) John McCain
US Senator and former Presidential candidate John McCain died on August 25, aged 81.
26.) Kofi Annan
Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan died aged 80 on August 18th after battling a short illness.
Mr Annan, who won the Nobel Peace Prize for humanitarian work, was the first black African to take up the role of the world’s top diplomat, serving two terms from 1997 to 2006.
27.) Mac Miller
Rapper, and ex-boyfriend of Ariana Grande, died aged 26 on September 7 from an apparent overdose.
28.) Matt Cappotelli
Former WWE star Matt Cappotelli died on June 29 aged 38. Cappotelli, who won WWE reality show Tough Enough, passed away after battling brain cancer.
29.) Nicholas Bett
World Championship 400m hurdles gold medallist Nicholas Bett died in a car crash on August 8.
The 28-year-old was killed in his home country of Kenya.
30.) Scott Wilson
Actor Scott Wilson died on October 6 aged 76 following a battle with leukemia. The star appeared in more than 50 movies, including The Great Gatsby and Pearl Harbor. He also portrayed Hershel Greene on the hit TV series The Walking Dead.
31.) Stan Lee
Comic book legend, Stan Lee passed away on November 12 aged 95. Lee created such iconic characters as Spider-man, Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.
32.) Zombie Boy
Rick Genest, the heavily tattooed model known as Zombie Boy, died aged just 32 in August.
33.) Mark Salling
Mark Salling, the American actor known for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman on the television series Glee. He was found dead from an apparent suicide by hanging on January 30 near his home in the Sunland area of Los Angeles, six hours after he was reported missing. The actor was well-known to have deep personal issues and his reputation and career was irredeemable having pleaded guilty to possession of indecent pictures of minors in 2015.
