From the 1840s right up until the 1940s, we look at 100 years of some of the earth’s finest examples of design, architecture and construction – taken at the every dawn of photographic technology. Using modern digital technology, as the layers of colour build up, the effect is disorientatingly real and the decades and centuries just fall away.
